Kaos has been creating styles and releasing collections for both women’s and men’s elegant styles since the end of the 80’s. Marco Calzolari is the owner and creator of the Kaos group.

Kaos Foundation

Kaos was launched in 1987 as a fast-fashion product located within Centergross, Europe’s largest B2B commercial area for Italian ready-to-wear clothes. Marco Calzolari, the brand’s owner and founder, studied and developed all market trends.

King Kong Foundation

The King Kong brand was launched in 1991 as the ambassador of a pret-a-porter product aimed at a young feminine audience with a casual sporty style.

Kaos Evolution

The Kaos group grows and expands its offering from ready-to-wear to planned collections in 1994. The brands Kaos women and Kaos man are born, the former dedicated to the women’s world with an emphasis on style and trends, the latter a line with knitwear as its primary business that is gradually expanding its product list to include manufactured products.

Angela Davis Foundation

The Kaos Group consolidates in both Italy and Europe by developing and reinforcing its market network. Angela Davis is the second fast-fashion business to be supported in order to meet market demand.

Kaos Jeans Foundation

With the creation of Kaos Jeans, another step forward has been accomplished. Initially conceived as a subset of the main collection, consisting just of denim garments, it has gradually developed its own personality, offering a diverse choice of high-quality, wearable fashion products. Today, the line is aimed at customers between the ages of 20 and 60.

2014

Opening of the first Kaos flagship store

April 2014: Bari is chosen as the launch city for the first KAOS single-brand store. Six large showcases on Principe street, in the heart of the shopping district, offer a wide range of all our fashion lines. Other single-brand stores, both inside franchising stores and dedicated ones, were opened in the years that followed. Kaos single-brand stores can now be found in Bari, Bologna, Como, Cosenza, Ferrara, and Reggio Calabria.

Icona Kaos Foundation

Icona was founded in 2017 and its first collection was presented as the fall/winter 2017/2018.

Initially made of fine yarn knitwear reminiscent of Kaos’s 1980s style, it is now a total-look collection always characterized by fine fabrics and meeting the needs of a diverse female audience.
